Blind Dave Heeley has teamed up with BBC WM’s Adrian Goldberg to take on a series of challenges in support of the radio station’s Red Alert Appeal. The aim is to raise as much money as possible to fund research nurses who will offer life saving drugs to leukaemia patients who could otherwise die. Find out more about the appeal at www.redalertappeal.com. The first challenge took place on Monday August 6th when Dave drove a steam train at the Severn Valley Railway. After successfully completing that challenge, Blind Dave has now set himself the task of cutting Adrian’s hair!
