DIY

Dave has always been interested in carpentry and after doing a three year course at Queen Alexandra College for the blind in carpentry and woodturning, finds his workshop a very therapeutic place. He easily loses himself for hours or days if he were allowed, creating and designing, he loves the unusual (the one offs) and left to him no project is too big or too small.  He built the cribs for the girls when they were born, built and designed Winnie the Pooh bedrooms complete with slides and castles and wood turned various objects.  Every Thursday on Insight Radio Dave has a weekly spot called DIY with Blind Dave. CLICK HERE to take a listen.

Hopefully below through pictures you will see some of the work that Dave has achieved.
